# How to Prepare:
01 - In a large bowl, lightly mash the black beans with a fork, leaving some texture intact.
02 - Add red onion, garlic, rolled oats, breadcrumbs, egg, lime juice, cumin, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, pepper, and cilantro to the mashed beans. Mix thoroughly until evenly combined.
03 - Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty.
04 - Heat a nonstick skillet or grill pan over medium heat and lightly oil the surface. Cook patties for 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden brown and heated through.
05 - Optionally toast the burger buns lightly in the skillet or oven.
06 - Spread zesty yogurt sauce or chipotle mayo on the bottom bun. Layer with shredded lettuce, a black bean patty, tomato slices, red onion, avocado slices, then top with the bun crown.
